The solicitation requires transportation of blood products and specimens by the contractor from Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, North Carolina to two Veteran Affairs hospitals in Fayetteville, North Carolina and other locations along the eastern coast. The responses clarify that COVID-19 guidelines do not prevent STAT deliveries within a required 45 minute response time, empty specimen boxes must be returned to the government on the next pick-up day, and the testing facility will accept specimens after 2030 hours. Delivery of whole blood to the donor center must occur after blood drives have ended.
