The scope encompasses construction of a permanent overhead canopy structure over the main gate entry control point, including excavation and concrete foundations, structural steel installation (stacked I-beam construction with bolted ASTM A325/A325M field connections and hot-dip galvanized finish), pre-finished metal roofing and paneling (3-inch by 16-inch smooth white panels, 20-gauge minimum, with baked enamel finish backed by 20-year limited warranty), integral box gutter system, all electrical work with lighting fixtures, demolition and reconstruction of perimeter fencing, and civil site work including asphalt and concrete curb removal, grading, new concrete curbs, asphalt paving, and pavement markings. The canopy must be designed and stamped by a New York-licensed professional engineer conforming to AISC 360 standards. A new 6-inch PVC storm drainage infrastructure system is required with no connection to existing systems. One continuous inbound/outbound lane must remain open at all times. Normal work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays; off-hours work requires advance approval.
All offerors must be registered in SAM prior to submission. Performance and payment bonds are required within 10 calendar days of award. Award will be made to the lowest priced offer meeting all technical capability requirements evaluated on a pass/fail basis, including demonstration of at least three similar projects completed within the past five years and submission of a comprehensive Gantt chart project schedule.
