The 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for constructing a communications admin storage facility at the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK.
Base Bid Item: Work consists of constructing a 3,200 SF addition to the Communications Admin/Storage facility which includes office/admin space, shop space, a small Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) area, and general support areas.
Option 1: Run and terminate telecommunications cabling, install ports, and other associated telecom work described in the plans.
Option 2: Furnish and install building furnishings, to include transportation to the facility and furniture assembly and placement.
The magnitude of the project, to include the base bid and two (2) options, is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000.
A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the offer is required.
The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 210 days after notice to proceed for the base contract.
