About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center is soliciting proposals through May 13, 2022 to procure two electric composite processing ovens capable of reaching 500 degrees Fahrenheit and heating/cooling rates of 10 degrees per minute under solicitation number FA8125-22-Q-0059. The ovens must accommodate twenty source-probe vacuum pairs controllable individually or in groups, include barcode scanners and one PC per oven to control all functions. Proposals are to be submitted electronically through FedBizOps and are evaluated based on meeting the technical requirements and providing the best overall value. An optional site visit was held on April 5, 2022.
This total small business set-aside seeks NAICS 335314 ovens with a period of performance from April 25, 2022 to April 24, 2023. Pricing is to be firm-fixed price for the ovens, installation at Building 9001 at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, training, inspection, and a five-year after-sale support package. Amendments extended the response deadline and answered industry questions. The place of performance is Tinker Air Force Base to support the 553rd CMXG in curing composite parts for various aircraft including the B-1, B-52, KC-135 and E-3.

You will need to bring a driver’s license to be allowed on the installation.
