Question 1: Will the system be qualified based on part temperature or air temp?

Answer 1: The system will be qualified on the TUS and SAT in an empty oven per AMS 2750.

Also we would like to add a test with a few of our E-3 radomes at once. One radome is roughly (LxHxW) 48”x57”x74” 75lbs. The stands they are on are roughly 20lbs. The nose radome is of sandwich construction. The honeycomb core is 3/16 cell 0.252 thick with four pounds per cubic foot density. The core is fiberglass fabric reinforced phenolic resin. The core is faced on the interior and exterior surface with four plies of style 181 fiberglass fabric reinforced epoxy resin.

The AFT edge is reinforced with filler plies for structural attachment. The external surface is finished with erosion resistant white astrocoat.
