The project aims to improve air circulation, enhance temperature control, and create a more comfortable working environment within the 10,609 square foot prefabricated aircraft hangar. The government will evaluate offers based on technical acceptability and price, awarding to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote that represents the best value. Key deadlines include questions due by August 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM CDT, with quote responses due by August 25, 2025 at 12:00 PM CDT via email to the contracting officers.

While no specific contract value or budget range is disclosed, the work must be completed within 30 calendar days after receipt of order, with delivery required within one month to Building 819 at 1701 Kenly Ave, Kelly Airfield, Lackland AFB. The project requires licensed contractors to perform all work in accordance with relevant building codes, conduct pre-installation site visits, and integrate the new fans with existing fire alarm systems so they automatically shut off when smoke is detected. The contractor must also provide a 12-month warranty on workmanship and maintain site cleanliness throughout the installation process.
