About this opportunity
Air Combat Command seeks design, manufacturing, delivery, and installation of custom, mission-critical console furniture for the 20th Fighter Wing's Primary and Alternate Command Post at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, with proposals due July 23, 2026. The procurement is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 337211 (Wood Office Furniture Manufacturing).
Place of performance is Shaw Air Force Base, Building 1122, South Carolina. Work must be completed Monday through Friday, 0700–1600, excluding federal holidays. The scope encompasses two integrated console systems: Room 1 requires one three-operator console (approximate width 21'9") with two file cabinet/binder storage credenzas, and Room 2 requires one six-operator console in a continuous V-shaped configuration (approximate width 25'9") with storage units. All work surfaces must feature 1-1/8" laminated medium-density fiberboard with urethane "Comfort Edge" molding; support credenzas require high-pressure plastic laminate with "Safeguard Edge" or "Comfort Edge" finishes. All workstations must be independently height-adjustable via electric sit/stand lift columns rated for at least 800N per column, with Room 1 powered by six columns (two controls) and Room 2 powered by twelve columns (four controls), each featuring 3-position memory and digital displays. All contractor personnel require background checks and multi-day installation passes through the Visitor's Control Center and must comply with base security requirements.
Manufacturing and delivery lead time shall not exceed 12 weeks from order and color selection confirmation. The contract is firm fixed price, with a 180-calendar-day delivery schedule from award receipt. Inspection and acceptance occur at both contractor facility and Shaw AFB; FOB is destination. Payment processes through WAWF. Evaluation awards to the responsible offeror with the lowest evaluated price meeting technical acceptability. The Government evaluates the five lowest-priced technically acceptable quotes; if adequate competition exists, no additional quotes will be evaluated. Questions are due July 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. Prices must remain valid through September 30, 2026. Amendment 0004, effective June 25, 2026, extended the due date from July 13 to July 23 and incorporated updated Technical Drawings and Renderings (June 25, 2026) and Questions and Answers (July 20, 2026).
