The deadline for submitting questions to the Contracting Officer, Richard Hawthorne, was April 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. ET, and quotations are due by April 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

No incumbent contractor or current contract holder has been identified in the available documentation. The Government anticipates making one award with completion expected within 30 to 45 days of award, and all deliverables must be completed within 60 days of award with FOB Destination terms. The project will be performed at the Roman L. Hurska U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (USMARC) in Clay County, Nebraska, specifically in Clay Center, NE 68933. A mandatory site visit was scheduled for April 3, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., and additional technical clarifications regarding sprinkler configuration and pressure regulator specifications were provided in an amendment posted on April 9, 2026.
