About this opportunity
The National Park Service Southeast Region seeks supply, transport, and delivery of drinking water and wastewater treatment chemicals for Everglades National Park, with proposals due July 28, 2026. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 325199, with a size standard of 1,250 employees.
Performance occurs at two locations within Everglades National Park: Pine Island District (within 5 miles of 40001 State Road 9336, Homestead, Florida 33034) and Flamingo District (38–42 miles from the main entrance). The contractor must supply, transport, and deliver five chemicals—Sodium Hypochlorite 12% solution NSF 60 (7,000 gallons annually), Micro C 2000 (4,400 gallons), Aluminum Sulfate 50% solution (3,500 gallons), Sodium Hydroxide 50% solution (3,000 gallons), and Clear Flow Pt 7036 or Aqua gold 170 (100 gallons)—within 7 days of request, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. All chemicals must comply with EPA and NSF standards for drinking water and wastewater treatment and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The contractor supplies its own containment equipment and is responsible for spill cleanup costs when at fault; the park maintains existing 500–700 gallon storage tanks. The contract period runs from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027, with four one-year option periods exercisable at government discretion, extending through July 31, 2031.
Award will be made as firm-fixed-price based on best value, evaluated on pricing, ability to perform per specifications, completion time, past performance, and absence of active SAM.gov exclusions. Offerors must be SAM.gov-registered with a valid Unique Entity ID and self-certified under NAICS 325199. Payment is processed through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) after Contracting Officer approval. Amendment 0001, issued July 7 and posted July 21, extended the deadline from July 21 to July 28 and released a Government Questions & Answers document compiled from vendor inquiries.
