About this file
This is a Questions and Responses document for federal contract solicitation 140P5426Q0022 issued by Everglades National Park for the purchase of drinking water and wastewater treatment chemicals. The question deadline was July 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST.
The required chemical products include Sodium Hydroxide 50%, Micro C 2000, Aluminum Sulfate 50%, and Sodium hypochlorite 12.5%, with pricing to be quoted in US gallons. Everglades National Park maintains its own existing 500-gallon storage tanks with a capacity range of 500 to 700 gallons per chemical. Each chemical has one point of delivery within each plant. The contractor is not responsible for providing or paying for storage tanks but is required to cover the cost of their own containment equipment and spill cleanup supplies if the contractor is at fault for a spill. This document clarifies key logistics and cost allocation responsibilities for potential bidders.
