About this opportunity

The Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response seeks proposals to provide professional technical and medical staffing support services through multiple-award IDIQ contracts with firm fixed price and labor hour task orders. Services include program management, operations, logistics, and industry engagement support. The period of performance consists of a one-year base period and two one-year options. Labor rates must be proposed for various categories using templates provided by the closing date.

These services are being requested for a period of performance as follows:

Base – 12 months

Option Period I – 12 months

Option Period II – 12 months

Pursuant to FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services and FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, the Government may, by unilateral contract modification, require the Offeror to perform the Option Period (s) specified in this solicitation. If the Government exercises these options(s), notice must be given before the expiration date of the contract. Specific information regarding the time frame for this notice is set forth in the OPTION PROVISION of this solicitation.

As a result of this solicitation the Government anticipates awarding a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as contemplated by FAR 16.504. There will be a hybrid of Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) and Labor Hour (LH) Task Orders. The total minimum of services will be $2,500, not to exceed a maximum contract ceiling to be determined at time of award.
