About this opportunity

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has issued a solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to acquire various AR500 ballistic steel targets and associated support items for use at Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) ranges located throughout the United States. The contractor will be required to provide the personnel, management, and materials necessary to manufacture, develop, and ship a minimum of 60 different types, styles, and thicknesses of steel targets, as well as fabricated mild steel mounting and supporting components. The targets must meet specific requirements such as tilt angles, mounting options, and spring-loaded functionality, and the contractor must conduct ballistic steel testing and provide certifications prior to manufacturing. The contract will be awarded on a best value trade-off basis, considering technical quality and past performance in addition to price.

This is a total small business set-aside solicitation with no incumbent contractors mentioned. The contract has a minimum value of $1,000 and a maximum value of $600,000, with a 5-year ordering period. Deliveries are anticipated primarily to locations in the continental U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska, with a 90-day delivery requirement after receipt of order. The due date for offers is June 28, 2024.
