About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps intends to issue a request for proposal in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2018 to conduct a service life extension program restoring approximately 145 All Terrain Cranes to like-new condition. Offerors must demonstrate the ability to meet requirements that will be outlined in the forthcoming RFP to restore each crane's reliability, availability and maintainability. The anticipated contract is a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity agreement with a 60 month period of performance consisting of five 12-month ordering periods. Draft documents including a statement of work and performance specifications will be released prior to the RFP's issuance, which is expected by June 2018.

There is no set-aside designation for this procurement. The NAICS code is 811319 for commercial and industrial machinery repair and maintenance. The solicitation does not name any incumbent or current contractors. Offerors must restore 145 cranes at locations to be determined over five years under the IDIQ contract's ordering periods. The all-terrain cranes have a lifting capacity of 100,000 pounds and provide logistical support to the Marine Corps.
