About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is seeking repair services for a damaged 2015 P-23 Oshkosh 3,000-Gallon Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting (ARFF) Ultra High Pressure Vehicle at Moody Air Force Base through Request for Quotation FA483025Q0023. The fire truck sustained damage during a reversing incident, including damage to the left rear side panel and rear left side panel, with the entire left-side engine compartment shifted forward by 3/4 inch, causing the left rear tire to brush against the engine compartment. Contract requirements include picking up the fire truck from Moody AFB, performing all repairs and replacements in accordance with the Statement of Work, and returning the repaired vehicle to the base. Quotations will be evaluated based on price, technical factors, and past performance, with HUBZone small business concerns receiving a 10 percent price evaluation preference. Critical dates include a mandatory site visit on July 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. EST, questions due by July 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. EST, and quotation responses due by July 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designation but provides a price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns, with a 10 percent factor added to all non-HUBZone offers during evaluation. No current contractor or incumbent information is provided in the solicitation materials. The solicitation does not specify an estimated contract value or budget range, requiring contractors to submit pricing through the provided pricing schedule for three line items covering repair services, vehicle pickup, and return delivery. The period of performance cannot begin until the fire truck completes its current maintenance work, which is estimated to be completed by the end of July 2025. The place of performance is Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, located on Bemiss Road, with the contractor responsible for transportation to and from their repair facility. The contractor must maintain appropriate insurance coverage and comply with Department of Labor wage determinations based on their facility location.
