About this opportunity
This solicitation seeks recurring and nonrecurring engineering services to support sustainment of the Air Launch Cruise Missile system. The Air Force Materiel Command Nuclear Weapons Center intends to award an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract for a period of up to nine years. The Boeing Company, as original equipment manufacturer, is the only qualified source able to provide these services due to proprietary technical data and expertise developed over 40 years of support to the program. Proposals from Boeing are due by December 4, 2023, with award planned for February 2024. Evaluation will consider the contractor's ability to perform configuration management, testing, analysis and program support tasks outlined in the performance work statement.
The solicitation contains no set-aside designations and utilizes NAICS 541330 for engineering services and PSC 1420 for guided missile components. As the incumbent prime contractor, only The Boeing Company is qualified to respond. The total estimated value of the contract is $70.6 million to be issued as a combination of fixed-price, incentive-based, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost reimbursement contract line items over a nine-year period of performance ending January 2033. Place of performance will be at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the contracting office is the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center located there.
