About this opportunity
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking to procure a brand name air-jet sieve shaker to be used for separating micro and nano-plastic (MNP) particles for the development of MNP test materials. The key requirements include the ability to separate particles down to 10 microns, digital adjustment of process parameters, collection of two fractions, and a batch capacity of 0.3 to 100 grams. This procurement will be conducted as a brand name only competition, with the Retsch AS200 JET as the only acceptable product due to the unique 10 micron sieve requirement. Award will be made to the responsible contractor submitting the lowest price, technically acceptable quotation that meets the minimum specifications. Contractors must provide documentation demonstrating their quoted product's compliance. The solicitation closes on 9/19/2024 at 1:00pm EST.
