About this opportunity
The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), specifically the Specialized Contracting & Procurement Directorate (S-C&P), has released a Special Notice detailing its Fiscal Year 2025 acquisition forecast. The notice covers contracting support for fourteen ACF mission partner offices, including the Office of Refugee Resettlement, Office of Administration, and Children's Bureau. This comprehensive forecast provides industry partners with advance information about anticipated contract actions that exceed the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. The forecast is designed to assist potential contractors in planning and understanding upcoming federal contract opportunities. ACF emphasizes that this document is for informational and marketing purposes only and does not constitute a specific funding commitment.
Contractors interested in these opportunities should note that the forecast will be updated quarterly throughout the fiscal year, with anticipated contract actions ranging from small-scale services to large multi-million dollar initiatives. Key instructions include submitting any questions to Ms. Evelyn Tyndell, Director of S-C&P, and including "S-C&P Business Forecast, Fiscal Year (FY) 2024" in the email subject line. Potential opportunities span various service categories, including child welfare support, IT infrastructure, grant management, technical assistance, and support for unaccompanied children programs. While specific set-asides are not definitively established, the forecast indicates potential opportunities for small businesses, 8(a) firms, and other designated business categories. Contractors can expect contract values ranging from under $25,000 to over $100 million, with target solicitation and award dates primarily in the second and third quarters of the fiscal year.
