About this opportunity
The United States Air Forces in Europe and Africa is preparing to procure audiovisual and conferencing system upgrades for two conference rooms at the 86 Airlift Wing, Ramstein Air Base, with a response deadline of August 11, 2026. The contract will be awarded using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) selection criteria. No set-aside applies.
Place of performance is Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The salient characteristics document specifies comprehensive AV systems for a large and small conference room. The large room requires eight multi-codec video decoders supporting 4K60 and 1080p H.264, a 130-inch LED display with 1.5mm pixel pitch, three additional commercial displays (two 65-inch and one 75-inch UHD), digital signage, and a multi-zone clock; dual beamforming microphone arrays with Dante connectivity; flat-panel speakers and subwoofer; three professional touch panels without camera, NFC, or microphone capability; and centralized AMX control with custom GUI. The small room includes two 75-inch UHD displays, a 4K auto-tracking camera with 12x optical lens, ceiling microphone array with echo cancellation, column loudspeakers, two-channel amplifier, and TAA-compliant Webex EQ codec. Both systems require SIPR conferencing with Cisco codec compatibility for USAFE VOC standards and classified Microsoft Teams operation on SIPR, plus NIPR conferencing with Microsoft Teams via USB bridging. Additional scope includes AV-over-IP 4K distribution, remote-controlled switchable window film, sound masking system, complete installation, cable termination, as-built documentation, system diagrams, user training, and one-year on-site warranty with 72-hour response time during German business hours. A site visit is anticipated; interested vendors must notify the government points of contact.
