About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 12 (VISN 12) has issued a Special Notice of Intent to negotiate a limited source modification with Colossal Contracting LLC for the Danville Nurse Call System. This notice pertains to communications equipment manufacturing and is classified under NAICS code 334290 and PSC code 5830. The modification is characterized as out-of-scope and will involve removing Building 101 Wards 7 and 8 from the existing nurse call system while reallocating already-purchased parts to Buildings 130 and 131. The action is necessary because the VA has permanently closed Wards 7 and 8 with all patients relocated, and hospital leadership has confirmed these wards will not reopen. This modification is being executed under FAR 52.212-4 (Changes-Fixed Price) with Colossal Contracting LLC, a verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

Only verified SDVOSBs are eligible to participate in this limited source procurement, as the modification is intended for the original contract awardee. Information received will be evaluated solely to determine whether the Government should conduct a competitive procurement, with final discretion to proceed non-competitively remaining with the Government. The estimated modification value is $33,195.95, and all responses will be archived 30 days after the response deadline.
