About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command seeks the purchase, delivery, and installation of 160 uninterrupted power supply batteries for Building 64 at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, with quotes due August 10, 2026, and questions due July 31, 2026. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside under NAICS code 335999 with a 600-employee size standard.
Place of performance is Building 64, Creech Air Force Base, Nevada (Indian Springs, NV 89018). The contractor must furnish and install DATASAFE 12HX400FR-BL or equal batteries, along with all necessary connectors, intercell cables, terminal hardware, tools, shop supplies, and labor. The contractor shall remove and recycle or dispose of existing batteries, perform functional testing of all batteries and the overall system after installation to confirm load capacity and absence of warning alerts, provide user documentation, and deliver a not-to-exceed $8,000.00 for OEM battery timer and alarm reset using proprietary software billed at actual cost. Delivery and all work, including connection and testing, must be completed within 60 days of award. Work is performed Monday through Friday, 0800–1600 hours, excluding federal holidays, with access facilitated by 432d Communications Squadron members. Site logistics require hand-carrying batteries approximately 10 feet from unload to the UPS room; existing tie-in cable connections are already installed inside the cabinets for contractor utilization. Spent batteries must be palletized and picked up within seven days of project completion. Contractors requiring escorted access to cabinet wiring for quality control may request government assistance.
The contract is Firm Fixed Price, awarded to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer. Quotes must include product specifications, CAGE code, UEI, payment terms, discount terms, point of contact, and proposed delivery schedule. Offerors must maintain active SAM registration and provide taxpayer identification number and commercial certifications. FAC 2026-01 provisions and clauses (dated March 13, 2026) apply. Quotes are submitted via email to TSgt Jeffrey Perkins (jeffrey.perkins.4@us.af.mil) and Capt Taylor Peeples (taylor.peeples.1@us.af.mil). Delivery is FOB Destination with inspection and acceptance at destination.
