About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is seeking to engage a contractor with the necessary health and safety expertise to conduct Annual Workplace Evaluations (AWEs) and provide Industrial Hygiene (IH) monitoring support for NCA's nationwide operations. The purpose is to receive expert third-party feedback to identify workplace hazards and recommend mitigation strategies. The solicitation, numbered 36C78624R50386 -- C213, requires the contractor to have qualified safety and health assessors such as Certified Industrial Hygienists. Proposals will be evaluated based on best value, with past performance and technical approach being more important than price. The solicitation has a due date of September 17, 2024.
This procurement is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. There is an incumbent contractor, but the Government has not provided a preliminary cost estimate. The contractor will be required to conduct up to 135 inspections per year at NCA's national cemeteries and facilities, with a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. The work will be performed at NCA's nationwide locations.
