About this opportunity

The General Services Administration will issue a request for proposals to award multiple indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts for 2022 transit buses. GSA seeks to procure fixed-price transit buses meeting provided purchase descriptions over a 60-month ordering period. Evaluation will consider price, technical capability, and management experience using a lowest-priced technically acceptable approach. Interested parties must request an AutoBid account by July 21st to receive the solicitation and indicate vehicle makes and models to bid on.

There is no specific set-aside for this procurement classified under NAICS 336211 for motor vehicle body manufacturing. While encouraging small business participation, the previous 2018 transit bus contracts provide a framework for requirements and terms. Prospective offerors must meet vehicle standards and provide submissions through the AutoBid system upon its opening with solicitation release around July 21st. The multiple contracts could yield orders totaling in the hundreds of vehicles over the five year ordering period.
