About this opportunity
The Department of the Army National Guard is seeking a contractor for the renovation of the 126th Air Refueling Wing (126ARW) Resilience Center in Building 5046 at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The project involves modifying the east side of the building to create dedicated office spaces for various support agencies including Equal Opportunity, Chaplains, Airman & Family Readiness, Director of Psychological Health, and Sexual Assault Response Coordinator. The renovation requires installing new walls, doors, electrical and communication infrastructure, HVAC evaluations, fire suppression system modifications by a Qualified Fire Protection Engineer, and finishes that match existing building aesthetics. The government will evaluate quotes based on price, technical narrative, and past performance, with additional consideration for contractors who attend the site visit and have previous experience with the 126th Air Refueling Wing. A mandatory site visit was scheduled for August 6, 2025, at 0800 hours, with quotes due by August 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM via email to the 126 Contracting Officer.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside under FAR 13 simplified acquisition procedures, with an estimated project value between $100,000 and $250,000. No current contractors or incumbents are identified in the solicitation documentation. The contract will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price arrangement, though funds are not currently available and contract award is contingent upon fund availability. Performance will take place at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, specifically at Building 5046, and contractors must complete work within a negotiated performance period. Offerors must maintain quotes valid for 30 days if possible and be registered in SAM.gov to be eligible for award consideration.
