About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of State, through the U.S. Embassy Jakarta, is soliciting quotations for a one-year subscription to Global Maritime and World News intelligence services for five users covering the period April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027. The procurement requires bidders to be established businesses operating in Indonesia with permanent addresses and demonstrated experience providing similar services within the country, with proof of experience required in proposals. Key contract requirements include integration with the Embassy's existing Indonesia-focused digital platform, seamless functionality across mobile and desktop devices, customizable dashboards, real-time alert capabilities, multilingual translation support, and access to external maritime tracking tools. The solicitation specifies that quotations must be submitted in Indonesian Rupiah as firm fixed prices including all taxes and delivery costs, with proposals due by March 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local time submitted to yoriany@state.gov. For contracts exceeding $30,000, prospective offerors are strongly encouraged to complete System for Award Management (SAM) registration prior to proposal submission.

This is an open market solicitation with no set-aside designations, and no incumbent contractor information is referenced in the notice. The contract value threshold requiring SAM registration suggests potential award values may exceed $30,000, though specific budget ranges are not disclosed in the solicitation materials. The services consist of two primary components: a Global Maritime Information Service delivering intelligence from over 500 vetted sources across five global regions with incident tracking and geospatial visualization, and a World News Service providing aggregated coverage from over 500 sources across 168 countries with content organized by geography and category including security, military, legal, business, and counter-terrorism topics. Performance will take place at the U.S. Embassy Jakarta located at RT.5/RW.2, Gambir, Central Jakarta City, Jakarta 10110, Indonesia, with payment to be processed via Electronic Fund Transfer within 30 days of complete delivery and invoice receipt.
