Additional scope includes removal and replacement of damaged EPDM and shingle roofing systems down to original decking, installation of TPO roofing systems with polyisocyanurate insulation and required flashings, exterior pressure washing, surface preparation, caulking, and painting of all existing exterior surfaces excluding roof panels. Competitive sealed proposals from qualified subcontractors are due Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at City of Douglas City Hall, 302 S. Madison Ave., Douglas, Georgia.

The solicitation targets subcontractors qualified in three specific proposal packages: 7A for pre-engineered metal building roofing and trim, 7B for TPO roofing and trim, and 9A for painting and caulking. The project is part of a larger FY26 renovation initiative that includes both Hangar #2 (North Hangar) and Hangar #3 (South Hangar). All removed materials must be disposed of off-site, and work must comply with OSHA fall protection standards and manufacturer specifications for all roofing systems. The document includes detailed specifications for flashing installations, insulation requirements, material gauges, and fastening methods across multiple roof areas and configurations.
