About this file

This is a Scope of Work specification document for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of wildlife forage seed mix. The procurement is for up to 5,000 pounds of grass seed mix to be delivered in 50-pound bags to the ODFW Umpqua Watershed District office. The required seed mixture consists of Annual Rye Grass (13%), Perennial Rye Grass (17%), Paiute Orchard Grass (25%), Dalkeith Subclover (35%), New Zealand White Clover (5%), and Birdsfoot Trefoil (5%). All legumes must be inoculated, and Oregon noxious weed-free certificates must be provided at the time of bid, must be clear and readable, and must be no older than one year. Bidders may request authorization for acceptable substitutions if any specified variety is unavailable; notably, Ladino White Clover has been approved as an acceptable alternative to New Zealand White Clover.

This is a small procurement under Oregon Administrative Rule 125-247-0265, and the state agency will not accept protests. The solicitation will result in a Purchase Order that includes standard state terms and conditions. Bidders should reference the Mandatory Bid proposal Form and the solicitation number S-63500-00017835 for submission details and delivery requirements. No specific due date, award date, site visit requirements, or bidders' conference information is provided in this specification document.
