Proposal Inquiry: Reference No W912TF-11-R-0502
1. In section 00100 no 5.1 and 2 states that we are to obtain prior permission to enter the base to hand drop off the proposals. Answer: A Contracting Officer or Contracting Representative will be at the gate to time stamp your sealed proposal. You will be allowed to drive onto the base and hand in your proposal at the collection point directly past the gate. You will not be able to change your proposal once stamped in. Proposals shall be sealed and ready for acceptance at proposal closing time. If your proposal is not sealed when the Contracting Officer approaches your vehicle you will be turned away at the gate to make room for oncoming traffic and risk being late.
2. Section 00110 no. 3.1.2 states that the CD submitted with the proposal should include Volume 2, parts 1 and 2.
Section 00110 no. 3.3.7 states that all proposal information to be included on the CD. Because subcontractor pricing often comes in at the last minute, we plan to call our bid runner with final numbers while he is at Pease, preparing to deliver the package. Therefore we will not be able to write them to the CD. Please confirm it is acceptable to include only Volume 2 on the required CD, as finalizing our pricing ahead of time in order to put it on a CD could impact our ability to submit a best price. Thank you.
Answer: Everything except pricing will be on the CD.
