About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a federal contract solicitation for facility improvements at a National Guard building. The solicitation seeks improvements including replacement of exterior doors and frames with 16 gauge frames and insulated doors, addition of a window to one door, replacement of thresholds and weatherstripping. Electrical and ductwork upgrades are required to support new motorized vehicle exhaust systems at each work bay venting through a roof manifold plate. Concrete pads outside doors need replacement including the supply room pad. Conduit needs run from the mechanical room to the perimeter fence for a security system. The contractor must confirm duct and electrical capacities and accommodate ongoing building operations during the project.
