ADDENDUM 002 TO THE
SCOPE OF WORK OF PROJECT ED 00165-7
Construct Softball Field Darby South, Camp Darby, Livorno, Italy
The scope of work is modified as follows:
- “Reference document 1 - Softball field - plan of the area” dated 3 February 2020 is replaced by “Reference document 1 - Softball field - plan of the area REV 1” dated 10 July 2020; this proposal of the field orientation must be considered as the preferred solution;
- Parag. “Interferences” under ”d. Work description” at page 3 is replaced by:
Interferences
The list of the existing utilities and facilities listed at paragraph III b. shall not be considered exhaustive and the contractor is required to make an accurate survey to verify if other utilities or facilities are present. Some utilities and facilities will interfere with the softball field and will need relocation or removal, while others will not probably interfere with the field and will be kept in place.
Contractor is required to verify during the design phase that the solution proposed by the Government shown in reference document 1 is feasible and complies with the rulebook requirements, the safety requirements and it is compatible with the equipment and systems (for example dugouts, lighting system etc.) that must be installed.
The resolution of interferences with the existing utilities/facilities present in the area coming out according to the final orientation/position of the field is included in the Scope of Work; in particular the relocation of electrical panels (if necessary) shall include the reconnection of the existing lines performing proper splices with new cables, in order to continue providing the electrical feeding to the existing facilities.
In any case:
- All the electrical manholes inside the softball field shall be removed and filled with new soil. The existing cables routed in the cable ducts in the center of the area have been already removed; the cables feeding panels SC3, SC4, SC5, SC6, SC7, SC8 are still present and must not be removed.
- The gym equipment set will be removed.
Depending on the Contractor’s proposal on the exact position of the softball field, Contractor shall integrate/modify the list of works to be performed according to the interferences with the utilities and facilities.
