High Density Mobile Storage System

COLORADO ARMY NATIONAL GUARD

WATKINS, CO | FISCAL YEAR 25

REVISION 5 dated February 5, 2025

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Field Maintenance Shop 7 (FMS 7) located at 5049 Front Range Parkway, Watkins, CO 80137 requires storage units that facilitate seamless access, security, filing, and stowage. Areas that necessitate attention for more unified storage of materials include tools, reparable parts, office supplies, and secure filing. The high-density mobile storage compartments need to be installed with minimal interruption to workflow for the maintenance facility. The maintenance facility will be operational during the installation of the storage unit; however, will accommodate the Contractor during the different phases of the installation. A total shutdown of the maintenance shop should be avoided, if possible.

SCOPE OF WORK

The vendor will develop a quote specific to the available area location at Watkins, CO. As well build, ship, install all equipment, and cleanup of site after installation is completed. A breakdown of required equipment is listed under the “Requirements” and “Salient Characteristics” section. The vendor will warranty their work as required under the “Service and Warranty” section.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

FMS 7 is located in a secure, fenced-in facility at 5049 Front Range Parkway, Watkins, CO 80137. Site access will be coordinated prior to any site visits through on-site Government employee. The employee will be responsible for monitoring installation access and monitoring activities during the course of installation. Facility hours are from 0630 to 1700 Tuesday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS

• Procurement and delivery of all materials required for the completion of this project.

• All labor required for delivery, material offloading, material installation, service work, and warranty work. Labor includes any work required to install storage system.

• All work shall be completed within 10 business days or less, once installation of the storage system begins.

• New Equipment ONLY. NO USED OR REMANUFACTURED PRODUCTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

• Contractor shall cleanup site after installation is completed.

• The system will be installed onto a concrete floor, surface mounted, not recessed.

• The system will be dual entry (meaning a person can access each carriage aisle from both sides of the storage unit) and need the ability to lock into the concrete on both sides.

• There are no specific seismic requirements or seismic calculations required

SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

• The carriages of each unit will be operated with mechanical assist controls. Mechanical assist controls shall be on both ends (sides) of the carriages.

• Carriages shall be capable of withstanding loading of at least 800 lbs. per linear foot.

• Quantity 12 double sided mobile carriages

• Quantity 2 double sided static platforms

• Complete mobile storage system shall fit into an area of 50’ long by 10’ wide and include the following elevations:

ELEVATIONS NEEDED: See Attachment 6

Elevation #1 – Eight (8) each: 76 ¼ high x 48” wide x 15” deep, with:

One shelf that is 11 ¼” high x 48” wide x 15” deep, with dividers One shelf that is 12 ¾” high x 48” wide x 15” deep, with dividers Four 12” drawers One lockable roll-up door 76” high x 96” wide

Elevation #2 - Twenty (20) each: 76 ¼” high x 48” wide x 15” deep, with:

Six shelves that are 9 ¾” high x 48” wide x 15” deep with dividers One shelf that is 11 ¼” high x 48” wide x 15” deep with dividers One lockable roll-up door 76” high x 96” wide

Elevation #3 - Twenty (20) each: 76 ¼” high x 48” wide x 15” deep, with:

One shelf that is 12 ¾” high x 48” wide x 15” deep with dividers One shelf that is 14 ¼” x 48” wide x 15” deep with dividers Three drawers that are 15” x 48” wide x 15” deep One lockable roll-up door 76” high x 96” wide

Elevation #4 - Six (6) each: 76 ¼” high x 48” wide x 30” deep, with:

One shelf that is 9 ¾” x 48” wide x 30” deep with dividers One shelf that is 11 ¼” x 48” wide x 30” deep with dividers Two shelves that are 12 ¾” x 48” wide x 30” deep with dividers One shelf that is 24 ¾” x 48” wide x 30” deep with dividers One lockable roll-up door 76” high by 96” wide

• Four of these storage units need to be lockable (One (1) on elevation #1, one (1) on elevation

#2, one (1) on elevation #3, and one (1) on elevation #4 as shown in attachment 6). The four that are lockable must have metal rolling security gates (tambour doors/shutter doors) on one side of the storage system to limit access to the system. Each of these storage systems must be movable with mechanical assist rotating spin handles. Locking mechanism installed on these storage units via a pin to floor, to prevent the opening of the system while in its closed secure position.

• Service and Warranty o Installation must be accomplished by a certified installer of the product offered to maintain manufacturer’s warranty.

o Vendor will warranty work due to improper installation for a minimum of 30 days after installation.

ACCEPTANCE

• All purchased equipment is to be shipped by the vendor.

• All equipment will be capable of the full range of manufacturer specified capabilities.

• Equipment will be damage free after installation.

PAYMENT

• Vendor must Invoice through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)

• Vendor must be registered in WAWF to submit an invoice at https://wawf.eb.mil https://wawf.eb.mil/
