DRAWINGS CIVIL ENGINEERING BUILDING:
Mechanical:
1. BCE Building:
a. Contractor shall coordinate with Design Engineer prior to T&B, as there are discrepancies between total supply air (outlets) versus discharge air from AHU-1. Such changes will be issued via an ASI.
b. Volume on fan EF-1 was changed right before that last set of drawings was issued. EF-1 should be selected and powered as scheduled:
i. 1,180 cfm
ii. 0.5” w.g. external static pressure
iii. Motor: 1/3 HP
iv. Basis of design is Greenheck’s belt-drive inline fan, Model BSQ.
c. Note 4 of the VAV schedule (Sheet CE-M7.01) is applicable only to units VAV-1, VAV-2, VAV-3, and VAV-4. Ensure sound attenuation is installed on latter units between discharge of terminal box and supply air diffuser.
Coordinate exact location with Design Engineer during submittal phase.
Schedule ESP for VAV-1 thru VAV-4 is for external ductwork losses only and does not account for pressure drop through sound attenuation device.
Final motor selection shall be based with this in mind.
d. Sheet CE-M4.01
i. Provide a barometric relief louver (located to be coordinated between Architect, Design Engineer, and Structural Engineer prior to installation) with motorized damper and bird screen. Damper shall be interlocked with EF-2. Provide louver selection (or an approved equivalent) as follows:
1. Model ELF6375DX, 16” x 20”, 880 cfm, max. pressure drop = 0.15” w.g.
e. Add wall-mounted CO2 sensor next to thermostat location in the following spaces:
i. Break Area (Room 112), Breakroom (Room 215), EM Classroom (Room 216), and Training Classroom (Room 207).
Electrical:
1. Refer to the drawings, sheet CE-E0.01: Omit note #4.
2. Refer to the drawings, sheet CE-E2.11:
a. First Floor Power Plan, Electrical Room 119: Unlabeled panel shown on south end of east wall is the non-automatic transfer switch.
b. First Floor Power Plan: Current rating of MAU-6 shall be 6.6 FLA in lieu of that indicated.
c. First Floor Power Plan: Branch circuit designation for air compressor in Mechanical Room
118 shall be 1H-38 in lieu of that shown.
d. First Floor Power Plan, Elevator 125: Provide a duplex receptacle in the elevator pit area and connect to pit light shown. Pit light & receptacle shall be on circuit 1LB-14 in lieu of that shown.
e. First Floor Power Plan, Elevator Equip room 106: Branch circuit 1LB-8 shown shall serve only the sprinkler compressor in Janitor room 108. The receptacle in room 106 shall be on separate circuit 1LB-10.
f. First Floor Power Plan, Elevator Equip room 106: Provide a separate branch circuit 1LB- 12 to serve elevator cab lights. Circuit shall include a 20/1 enclosed circuit breaker in room 106.
g. Second Floor Power Plan, EM Tech area: Provide connection to Branch Controller unit BC-1 located above ceiling. Connect unit to same 208v circuit serving VRU-1 & VRU-2.
