Q – “Stone is labeled around the building on sheet C101 but there is no way to determine the extent of the stone required. Please provide a plan that clearly indicates the extend of stone required.

A – Stone is to be placed in all areas re-graded (disturbed) within the fence line and drives outside the fence line. See C102 and C103 for potential grading limits.

Q – “Stone” is labeled around the building on sheet C101 but there is no detail or description of the stone. Please provide a detail or description that shows the required thickness and type of stone.

A – All new stone areas and disturbed existing stone areas to be covered with 8” 2A aggregate.

Q – Are all windows part of Additive Bid Item #2?

A – Yes, all windows are Window Type “W1” Q – Is the entire sprinkler system for the new additional and existing building as show on FP101 part of Additive Bid Item #7?

Q – Are liner panels required for this building?

A – Yes, Liner panels were specifically requested by the Government.

A – Geotextile should be Class 4, Type A.

Q – Storm sewer profile C 302 shows CB-5 as proposed. Plan view C 102 & C 507 shows CB-5 as existing. Please clarify.

A – Assume CB-5 is existing Q – CB-10 on profile C 302 Top 426.30 invert 419.70. CB-10 on detail C 507 top

Q – The erosion control plan looks as though it was designed to include option 6.

A – Plan was approved for the entire potential project. The contractor will only be responsible to install any necessary measures to control erosion within the final work area.

Q – Civil dwg. C 101 has “STONE” labeled several places. Other than the details for the underground detention basins, that show 8” of 2A cover over the basins, I don’t see a detail for stone anywhere else. Also Bid option #6 is the same and looks like STONE on the 2:1 slope. Can this be clarified with a detail (type, depth etc.) and the limits of the areas that require “STONE” A – All new stone areas and disturbed existing stone areas to be covered with 8” 2A aggregate. Stone is to be placed in all re-graded areas (disturbed) within the fence line and drives outside the fence line. See C102 and C103 for potential grading limits.
