Operations Security Training (OPSEC)
The OPSEC Program is intended to protect both classified and unclassified but sensitive information
The purpose of the OPSEC Program is to prevent adversaries from collecting our Critical Information
Critical Information is any information that can be used to defeat our operations, plans or security measures

Information Loss
Be Part of Solution and Not The Problem Are You the Weakest Link?
Do NOT discuss what you do at APG with anyone who does not have a need to know. Leave work at work.
Do NOT have work related discussions in Public Places Do NOT talk about what you see at APG Do NOT take any photo’s at APG unless officially authorized.
Do NOT post information about what you do on line, face book twitter or anywhere else.
Do NOT throw away work related documents in the trash.
Do NOT leave packages or brief cases unattended in public areas
What You Must NOT DO
Reporting Suspicious Activity
Your Responsibilities We face numerous threats at APG that range from Terrorists to Foreign Intelligence Collectors.
If you live or work on APG you have a responsibility to report suspicious activities as rapidly as possible to the appropriate authorities.
Bottom Line
Information to Report Possible Terrorist related activity, unauthorized photography, surveillance, a stranger in your area, unexpected calls or emails, questions that are out of character, individuals not properly handling classified information, fraud or misuse of a position, unlawful conduct, drug dealing, gang activity or anything else that is improper.
How to Report Do it IMMEDIATELY, Don’t Delay Call the Installation Police Station, Aberdeen at 410-306-2222 or Edgewood at 410-436-2222 and make your report to the desk officer.
In an emergency, call 911
To Speak to an Agent, 902nd, about possible espionage issues call 410-278-3600.
Major Unreported Activity
Incidents commonly under reported are email or phone requests for information. If you receive a request for information regarding the Installation or your research or work from an unknown source, even if it appears innocent, you need to report this.
Foreign Intelligence collectors many times pose as students, businesses or other parties to elicit this information.
