About this file

This Statement of Requirement (SOR) outlines specifications for one Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) bottle filling station with compressor required by the 46th CST-WMD in Alabama to support CBRN RECON operations. The equipment must meet NFPA and CFR 1910.120 health standards.

The system requires dual SCBA bottle filling capability, minimum of two 6000 psi fill bank tanks, digital carbon monoxide and water monitoring, and noise level under 76 DB at one meter. Technical specifications include: 10 HP compressor at 14 cfm, 60 Hz single-phase 208/230V power, automatic start/stop based on demand, safety features including low oil pressure shutdown, door safety switch, auto-drain condensate system, and impact containment enclosure. The system must process 35,000 cubic feet of air at 70°F compressed to 6000 psi between cartridge changes. Delivery is required to Montgomery, AL with inspection/acceptance at delivery. Standard manufacturer's warranty applies, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Complete documentation including owner's and service manuals must be provided.
