About this file

This is an Amendment to a Description of Requirement document for solicitation W912HZ26QA010, which specifies supplies needed for a Dredge Material Placement Model at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory (CHL) in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The amendment clarifies requirements for seven line items (CLINs 0001, 0002, 0025, 0026, 0027, 0028, and 0029) in response to vendor questions and includes a track-changes version of the original document plus a Questions and Answers document.

The procurement includes two base supply line items: one 24-inch 90-degree stainless steel SCH 40 fitting (304L welded) and one 24-inch stainless steel SCH 40 pipe (304L welded, 20 feet). Optional supplies comprise 37 line items totaling significant quantities of materials including aggregate (1,200-1,550 tons), rebar (Grade 60 in sizes #5 and #7), concrete (650-710 cubic yards at 4,500 PSI), concrete forms and related fasteners/brackets in various sizes, PVC pipes (18-inch and 24-inch SDR26), dual-wall STIB pipes, and specialized geogrid material. Three items (numbers 5, 6, and 35) are brand-name only, while others allow brand-name or equal products with detailed submission requirements. All base materials must be delivered within 30 calendar days of contract award, and optional materials within 30 days of option exercise (with #610 aggregate requiring 15-day delivery). Shipping is FOB Destination to the ERDC facility at 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180, with 48-hour advance email notice required. This is a small business set-aside solicitation issued as a request for quote, requiring offerors to certify that a minimum of 50 percent of proposed items are manufactured by small business concerns.
