2.2 1 SCOPE SUMMARY

Civil works for this project are comprised of, but are not limited to, the following principal items (refer to bid schedule for which of these are base bid or optional):

- Site Survey

- Geotechnical Investigation and Report.

- Site Layout

- Clearing, Grubbing, Demolition and Removal

- Earthwork

- Storm Drainage

- Sanitary Sewer

- Water

- Pavement

- Landscaping

2.3 EXISTING CONDITIONS

The proposed project is located in Vrujci, Serbia, southwest of the capital Belgrade, and close to the municipality of Mionica. See Attachment #1-Location Maps, Attachment #2 – Site Plan, and Attachment #3 – Site Photos.

The north portion of the site is generally flat and slopes to the north. The south portion of the site is a hill sloping down to the north. Ground water level on the site is reported to be high. There is a drainage ditch located near the site.

The site currently has an existing medical facility that will be congruent with this project. An existing telecommunications structure onsite will be removed by others before construction.

The site has existing water and sanitary sewer connections nearby. Utility as-builts were not provided. However, the adjacent existing building has water and sanitary connections, likely extended from the main road.

All calculations are to be conducted and documented in compliance with the applicable codes and criteria.

Provide civil design drawings of sufficient detail to address the requirements of each design submittal. Civil drawings shall include but are not limited to site plans, utility maps, regular and characteristic cross sections of pavements and utility runs, as well as a job site mobilization plan showing staging area, haul and access routes and any other features planned for contractor’s site mobilization.

Design drawings shall include all necessary information (labeling, dimensioning, legend, details, etc.) to allow for complete traceability of the layout of any planned feature. Provide comprehensible differentiation between features that are new, existing or planned to be demolished by use of appropriate choice of line styles and/or colors.

65% Design Submittal

- Preliminary Design Analysis of civil features.

- Final Site Survey.
