About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for a construction project. The solicitation is for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor and supervision to construct a temporary community housing site consisting of 99 gravel pads located in Saint John The Baptist Parish, Louisiana. The value is estimated between $10-15 million. The site will include gravel roads, pads, parking, storm drainage, potable water and sewer lines, an on-site waste water treatment plant, electric service, lighting, fencing and other amenities to support recreational vehicles. Excluded from this scope is hauling and installing housing units, which will be performed by another FEMA contractor. The response due date was extended to April 15, 2022. The period of performance start date decreased by 4 days to 1 day. Additional clarification was provided on aggregate types, geofabric specifications, concrete mix designs, grass specifications, and responsibility for concrete pads for bus shelters and mail boxes. The soliciting agency is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Memphis District. The set-aside is for women-owned Stafford Act eligible businesses.
