Attachment 3 Page 1 of 12

1. GENERAL

1.1. The Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and management to: (1) coordinate delivery; (2) remove existing furniture from rooms; (3) deliver removed furniture to location specified; (4) load and unload new furniture; (5) place/install in designated rooms; (6) assemble items as required; (7) secure and store, as designated; and (8) properly dispose of all associated packaging/crating materials.

1.2. The Technical Representative (TR) for this project is as shown in Table 1 of this document.

Upon final approval of the TR, the vendor shall reserve adequate quantities of fabrics from the manufacturer at the earliest possible date to avoid delays due to “out of stock” and/or “discontinued” fabrics.

1.4 A pre-production sample will be required at Great Lakes post award. This mock-up will provide a visual demonstration of contractor capability to meet all of the technical requirements as stated within Furniture Item Description (FID) specifications. The awardee will be responsible for shipping to site and assembling the product at a location TBD prior to the post award meeting. The awardee will be responsible for disassembling the product and shipping back to their manufacturing facility. Any changes to the provided product are only authorized by the Huntsville Center (HNC) Contracting Officer

(KO).

2. DELIVERY

DELIVERY TYPES:

• Staged Delivery – This type of delivery is selected for occupied buildings where by the rooms must be emptied of old furnishings and reinstalled with the new furnishings by the end of each work day. The number of rooms that must be completed per day will be stated in the Table 1 of the Statement of Work (SOW). If there is a limited space for containers in the staging area, this will also be noted in the Table 1 of the Statement of Work. This information is important as it may dictate how the containers are loaded for delivery.

• Non-Staged Delivery – This type of delivery is selected typically for empty buildings where by the entire building is accessible during the install dates listed in the contract. This is important because it will dictate how the items are loaded into the containers for shipment.
