125 8997000 Drawing P102 shows a 3"CW, 2-1/2" HW, and 1-1/2" HWR copper piping leaving boiler buildings and being routed to the latrine barracks.
CU101 only shows 2-1/2" HW and 1- 1/2" HWR copper piping going to and from these buildings, please clarify if the 3" CW should appear on CU101 drawing.
The 3" water service to the boiler buildings should be installed from the existing main. Drawing CU101 shows a 3" DIP water service and valve from the existing main to the three boiler buildings.
126 8990826 As it is a total "revitalization and renovation" of the areas, We assume the majority of associated signage will be replaced. The specifications allude to replacing existing signage as needed, but that is not enough information to calculate a price. Can a signage schedule be provided for pricing purposes?
Signage for this project is limited to Interior Code Required Signage. All other Signage; Exterior Wayfinding, Directory and Building signage must be provided by the Government per West Point Standards for the Garrison.
Illuminated exit / egress signage has been provided in all buildings, see electrical drawings. Additional tactile signage for exits/egress is not required because the exits are "readily apparent" in the Sleeping Barracks as defined by applicable codes. Rooms in the path of egress that can be confused as exits are required to be identified; thus the Restrooms and Janitorial Closets in the Latrine Buildings must be identified. Per ICC Fire code- 605.3.1 Doors into Electrical Rooms must be labeled. This signage must comply with UFC /ABA requirements and is to be specified and mounted per exterior grade standards as Permanent Signage.
