Questions and Answers
Amendment #2
1st Set of Questions
1. On Page 67 of 68 of the RFQ document, at the top of the Page under the discussion of Experience, why are evidence of "disposing of unacceptable fuel" and "cleaning the tank" any longer relevant?
a. On page 67 the X next to 1 needs to be removed since they will not be transferring the fuel.
2. According to the information provided, there is no "unacceptable fuel" for the Contractor to dispose of and there is no "cleaning the tank" for the Contractor to perform.
a. They will be responsible for disposing of no more than 500 gallons of fuel and cleaning the tank to API 653 standards so the other X’s next to the numbers (2,3,5,7) need to stay. When we have the kickoff meeting to schedule the inspection the installation will need 30 days before the inspection to drain/transfer fuel from the tank.

2nd Set of Questions
1. "The site will be available immediately", and "simultaneously", but "first tank will require 30 days for draining". Will there be a 30-day waiting period after contract award?

Once USACE reviews and approves the required deliverables, the contractor will schedule the kickoff meeting. During the kickoff meeting, the contractor schedules the inspection.
2. Thereafter, fuel in the 2nd tank to be transferred back into the 1st tank? Who is to perform the draining of the 1st tank? Contractor?
a. Installation will perform the draining of the 1st tank. If there is any fuel left in the tank, the contractor will dispose of any unacceptable fuel no more than 500 Gallons.
3. Can you provide a "date" when bids are due?
a. Quotes are due on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 1400 Central Standard
Time Zone.
4. Will any of the fuel have to be transferred back to the "second" tank?
