About this file
This pre-solicitation notice announces the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' intent to issue a solicitation for maintenance dredging of Honolulu Harbor on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The project involves removing approximately 140,000 cubic yards of accumulated sediment to restore authorized harbor depths for vessel navigation using a mechanical clamshell dredge. Dredged materials will be disposed at the South Oahu Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site and a upland disposal site in Kalaeloa, with dewatering operations at Barbers Point Harbor. The estimated performance period is 540 calendar days for a project valued between $10-25 million. A pre-bid site visit will be held at Honolulu Harbor and may include Kalaeloa. The solicitation will be issued no sooner than 15 days per FAR Part 14. Small, small disadvantaged, and women-owned businesses are encouraged to compete.
