SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE (SF 30)

The following have been added by full text:

CONTINUATION PAGE

SECTION 26 13 13.00 26 Paragraph 1.2 Which read;

IEEE C37.013 (1997; R 2008) Standard for AC

High-Voltage Generator Circuit Breakers Rated on a Symmetrical Current Basis

Shall now read:

IEEE C37.013 NOT USED

SECTION 26 13 13.00 26 Paragraph 2.2.1 Which read;

The circuit breakers will be drawout cubicle switchgear as indicated on the contract drawings and shall be arranged to match up with the existing 5kV metal-enclosed bus at the top using maximum 36-inch wide sections. The standard phasing within equipment housings for AC power circuits is A-B-C from left to right, A-B-C from top to bottom, or A-B-C from front to back, when facing the front of the equipment. Power cables in conduit will enter the switchgear from the top and bottom as shown. Bottoms must be open to the maximum extend practicable to allow for variations in cable entry from existing embedded conduits. Furnish all necessary material and instructions for connection of the switchgear to the terminations. Where power cable terminations are indicated, provide sufficient space for terminating the cables with medium-voltage cable terminations. Each breaker must have provisions for remote manual operation. Provide remote racking provisions for the breaker cubicles. Prepare and submit outline drawings, assembly and detail drawings, schematic diagrams and connection diagrams as described in paragraph "SUBMITTALS".

Shall now read;

The circuit breakers will be drawout cubicle switchgear as indicated on the contract drawings and shall be arranged to match up with the existing 5kV metal-enclosed bus at the top using minimum section width 26 inches to match up with existing nonsegregated-phase bus duct connections as shown in the Contract Drawings. If for some reason wider switchgear is necessary to meet the ratings specified in paragraph 2.3.2, the Contractor must include modifications to the existing nonsegregated-phase bus duct to accommodate these connections. SECTION 26 13 13.00 26 Paragraph 2.3.1 Which read;

Except as otherwise specified, the circuit breakers must conform to the applicable requirements of IEEE C37.010, IEEE C37.013 IEEE C37.04, IEEE C37.06, IEEE C37.09, IEEE C37.20.2, NEMA C37.55, and IEEE C37.100. Provide documentation substantiating that the circuit breaker design and assemblies are ANSI certified. Each circuit breaker is to be of the electrically operated, metal-clad, vacuum type suitable for indoor 60-Hz service. The full-load temperature rise must not exceed the limits established in IEEE C37.20.2. Ratings are as defined in IEEE C37.04 Part 5, and as supplemented below.
