FY19 Laserfiche Renewal Q&As Date: 20 September 2019 Solicitation Number: W9124P-19-R-3377

Question/Comment 1: It needs to be noted that the PPX2B Public Portal 2-CPU item above has been replaced with the EPLS2 RIO Public Portal for Two Laserfiche Servers. The AMCOM installation has upgraded recently to the EPLS2 version. The difference is that the PPX2B Public Portal was licensed by “CPU” – so if a Server had two CPUs on the motherboard, it required the PPX2B. Laserfiche has subsequently gone to a licensing model where it is based on “Server” and not “CPU”. So AMCOM can now run Public Portal on two separate Servers, regardless of how many CPUs are in each Server. The pricing is the SAME for PPX2B and EPLS2.

USG Response 1: The AMCOM installation has not yet upgraded to the EPLS2 multiprocessor RIO Public Portal for Two Laserfiche Servers but anticipates the free upgrade to take place in the near future.

Question/Comment 2: The bid on this Renewal does NOT specifically require availability of onsite assistance. If the vendor does not provide onsite capability, there will be a large void in their ability to satisfy this contract.

USG Response 2: Please refer to the revised documentation included in this amended solicitation. Onsite assistance is as needed. PWS was updated in an attempt to clarify.

Question/Comment 3: “The Training Center” – Up to 24 Users as specified as the last line item of the items list is NOT a Laserfiche product, produced by Laserfiche in Long Beach, CA. It is an independently produced web-based resource created by one of the Laserfiche Resellers from Tallahassee, Fl. that is sold separately only through that Vendor. It can be re-sold by other Laserfiche Resellers for the benefit of their clients, to provide training videos on topics and specific features that may not be covered by the Laserfiche company. Whoever bids on this must make clear that they are quoting the independently produced “The Training Center” by the Florida reseller.

USG Response 3: Please refer to the revised PWS and Product Description included in this amended solicitation which removes and clarifies the training center requirement.

Question/Comment 4: In the “Laserfiche_Software_PD.pdf” document, an item requested for quotation is “Quick Fields Complete”, with a part number QCXB. Note that the part number QCXB is for LSAP for the Quick Fields Complete Software. The way the response is now written in the FBO_Questions.pdf document [from the Q&As in the canceled Solicitation W9124P-19-P-018967], vendors will think they need to quote the SOFTWARE and the LSAP.

USG Response 4: Please refer to the revised Product Description included in this amended solicitation. Document states the requirement for LSAP.
