Results of Asbestos Re -Inspection Building //.620 - Fl Stewart I Hinesville, A A+ Environmental Project #001-014
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
On November 16, 2006, A+ Environmental, Inc conducted a re-inspection for asbestos containing materials in Building #620 located at Ft Stewart in Hinesville, GA.
The re-inspection was conducted by Certified licensed AHERA Building Inspector, Marc Wilks, Certificate No. 06-772. The re-inspection consisted of a visual survey of the subject area by an accredited inspector, bulk sampling of suspect asbestos containing materials where necessary and a visual assessment of the condition of old and new material that contain or may contain asbestos.
Sample analysis for asbestos is conducted by Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) in accordance with the 40 CFR, Chapter 1, Part 763, Subpart F, Appendix A regulations. Samples containing greater than one percent by visual estimation are considered to be an asbestos containing material.
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of the re-inspection at Building #620 located at Ft Stewart in Hinesville, GA. The asbestos containing materials are as follows: 12x12 Pink Speck Floor Tile and associated Black Mastic located Throughout G-1 Offices. All other materials sampled previously were reported as non asbestos containing materials. Please see the following tables and drawings (not to scale) for detailed results. Building #620 has not been renovated and should be updated in your ACM database and/or filing system.
Note: All ACM from previous survey is still in place.
