About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document from a federal contract solicitation, specifically RFI #5 (Request for Information).
The document addresses a single inquiry regarding insurance requirements listed in Attachment 3 of the solicitation. The questioner sought clarification on whether Medical Liability Insurance (Medical Malpractice Insurance) is mandatory for the project, noting that the project does not require medical professionals on staff. The government's response clarifies that medical professionals are not required for this project and that Medical Liability Insurance is not a required insurance for contract performance. This response effectively removes a previously cited insurance requirement from Attachment 3, streamlining the insurance obligations for potential contractors.
