About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document from RFI #4 clarifying requirements for a Remagen Range DUD (Unexploded Ordnance) Clearance solicitation.
The document addresses two key inquiries from prospective contractors. First, it clarifies the unit structure on the SF 1449 form, confirming that each "Job" unit encompasses all four tasks: Task 1 (Surface Clearance), Task 2 (Subsurface Clearance), Task 3 (Demolition), and Task 4 (Final Reporting). The base year example shows 15 jobs as the quantity metric. Second, it establishes that the proposal submission deadline remains firm at 10:00 AM EST on June 15, 2026, as published on SAM.gov, with no extension possible to 1600 EST as previously requested by an offeror.
