TextField1: Food BPA for Nebraska
TextField1: Jarod Epp
TextField1: What do you mean by the meal requirement of delivering meals on a plate in sections 1.1.1 and 1.2.1?
TextField1: This is a description of the 'type' of meal. There are only 3 meals, hot breakfast, hot lunch/dinner and sack lunch. Two of the meals will be provided in two different ways. Hot breakfast and hot lunch/dinner will be eaten at that moment in that location, therefore the utensils needed to eat are plates and disposable silverware. The second is the meal is provided in an individual box to be consumed now but at another location.
TextField1: Are food containers acceptable under section 1 of the meal requirement?
TextField1: Yes. Vendor will bring food in appropriate food-safe travel containers. Vendor will provide all food and any needed utensils to serve the food. The Guard will serve themselves.
TextField1: Do you want utensil?
TextField1: Yes. We want utensils to self-serve the food and we want utensils to eat with.
TextField1: Are plastic utensils acceptable?
TextField1: Yes. See 4.6.2. of Purchase Description and Guidelines
TextField1: Based on the Attachment 7- BPA Food Quote, there is only a line item for "Percentage Per Amount" of Raw Subsistence, SN Raw Subsistence, Edibles & Event Meals, Out-of-State Meals and Out-of-State Raw Subsistence (and no reference to payment of items purchased/the delivery). For instance, the quote doesn't indicate Reimbursement of Receipt plus Percentage....

* Who is responsible for the cost of the Raw Subsistence, SN Raw Subsistence, Edibles & Event Meals, Out-of-State Meals and Out-of-State Raw Subsistence at the time of placing the order for delivery?

TextField1: The vendor is responsible for ALL costs at the time of order for all meal types, raw subsistence, edibles and event meals whether in or out of state. All payments to the vendor will be at the end of the 'cycle' (month). On the 1st of the following month, the vendor will reconcile/confirm serving numbers with contracting and can then invoice through PIEE/WAWF.
TextField1: Since we will be managing this food program, negotiating with merchants and making quality menu/store selections frequently throughout the performance of the contract and submitting a pre-fixed price for each meal category, why is there a requirement to submit receipts in addition to the invoice?
TextField1: Submitting a receipt is only needed on items that are not Pre-Priced. In order to calculate the Percentage we need to be able to see the receipt. Pre-Priced items do not require a receipt to be submitted.
TextField1: For the "Percentage Per Amount" fee for Out-of-State Meals would you permit Contractor to submit the greater of the two (e.g., if the Pre-fixed cost is more than the receipt would contractor be permitted to invoice the prefixed rate only)?
TextField1: Yes. We would want this brought to our attention while reconciling numbers at the end of the 'cycle'.
TextField1: There appears to be no CLIN 2.5 in Attachment 7- BPA Food Quote (CLIN goes from 2.4 to 2.6).
TextField1: Corrected.
