About this file

This document is a clarification or amendment regarding equipment specifications for a federal contract procurement. The contracting agency is clarifying that machines offering 390-pound weight stacks are available from multiple vendors and that there is a conversion error in the solicitation documentation between pounds and kilograms. The agency confirms that the poundage value specified is the correct specification and should be used for proposal submissions. The rationale for requesting the higher weight capacity is to ensure the procured equipment is appropriately suited to meet program requirements while accommodating space constraints; the agency prioritizes maximizing equipment utility within limited facility space to achieve operational objectives.

Text version

There are other machines that offer 390lb stacks. There is a typo on the lbs to KG conversion. The poundage value is the correct value. We are asking for the higher weight value due to trying to get the properly suited equipment for our program. We have limited space and do need to maximize the equipment we have to meet our need.
