About this file

This is a price and payment procedures section from a federal construction contract solicitation for the Crooked Creek Lake Boat Ramp Road Erosion Repair Project. The contract includes a base scope and seven awardable options for repairing erosion issues and implementing preventative measures along Crooked Creek Lake Boat Ramp Road. The base contract involves removing, replacing, and modifying existing drainage features, excavating and disposing excess material, constructing a toe bench and riprap buttress, culvert cleaning and lining, full-depth pavement replacement and installation of subdrainage, asphalt milling and overlay, and removing and replacing guiderail. The seven options include cleaning, inspecting, point repairing and lining two culverts between 24 to 36 inches in diameter, fine grading around a flat camp area, additional asphalt milling and overlaying, and resurfacing existing parking lots. The work is to be completed within 365 calendar days at various locations along Boat Ramp Road, which provides access for recreation and residents. Surplus soil will be disposed on-site and other wastes removed to a permitted commercial facility.
