W911SF-24-B-0001, Elevator Maintenance Industry Questions & Government Answers #2
1. What are the required PMs on the jump tower equipment?
The maintenance procedures and intervals are based on the age, condition and wear of the equipment; design and inherent quality of the equipment; usage; environmental conditions; improved technology; the manufacturer’s recommendations for any SIL rated devices or circuits and the manufacturer’s recommendations based on any ASME A17.7/CSA B44.7.
Elevator Minimum Requirements and inspections:

Visually inspect Controller Components, relay board and terminals oil for hydraulic elevators, floor leveling including riding the elevator and check all floor levels for stopping accuracy with respect to the hoistway floor.
Car switches, communications, signal and call buttons, car lights, Elevator must have a car gate or car door on each entrance.

2. Is there a current complete listing of all the equipment associated with this contract, and can it be provided?
No equipment
3. Is all the equipment on site non-proprietary, where the contractors have access to replacement material? (Example: Mowrey Elevators, which is on site at Fort Moore, has in the past forced companies to use proprietary parts).
No, we have a variety of elevators. The TE will be provided with manufacturer and company. The jump tower elevators are over 50 years old and it could be challenging to find parts and materials.
4. Verify that line 12, 13 and 14 can remain blank, or do you want us to put a dollar amount?
These are cost CLINs, so they are to remain blank.
